How to Be a Part of a Zoom Meeting

Zoom doesn’t hold back when it comes to allowing you to join a meeting. There are several ways to join a video conversation even if you haven’t downloaded Zoom’s software. A-Zoom meeting can be joined in a variety of ways.
The host must first set up the Zoom meeting in order for you to join it. Once the host has started the session, the attendees can participate. The host can also enable a feature that allows users to join the meeting before the host arrives, but the meeting must still be arranged in advance.

Utilize the Zoom App.

If you already have Zoom installed on your device, you can join a meeting by providing the host with a meeting ID or personal link name. You’ll be asked to sign in when you first open Zoom. By entering your email and password and then selecting “Sign In,” you may sign in with SSO, Google, or Facebook.

Selecting Google or Facebook will send you to that service’s sign-in page. You’ll need to know the corporate URL, which is usually companyname>. zoom.us, if you want to use SSO. After you’ve completed the sign-in process, you’ll be taken to the Zoom app’s main page, regardless of the method you used. From the drop-down option, select “Join.”

A new window will be opened. In the first field, enter the meeting ID that was provided to you when you received the invitation through email. You can instead enter the name of the personal relationship if you know it.

Below that, type your display name, select whether you wish to participate in the meeting by audio or video, and then click the “Join” button.

Please use the email address provided.

You’ll receive an email notification when a host sends you an invitation. The first link in the message is “Join Zoom Meeting.” Please go to the website and click on it. Once you’ve been picked, you’ll be transported to the Zoom meeting.

Utilize the Zoom webpage.

If you’re at a meeting with another company, they must have set up a Zoom company URL for you. Zoom.us is the most common name for this, but double-check with the host.

After you have it, go to the company’s URL in your preferred browser. Despite the fact that each company’s landing page will be different, the alternatives available will be mostly the same.

The meeting ID or personal link name that you should have received from the meeting host must now be entered. When you’ve finished, click “Join.” You are now a participant in the meeting.

You can also call the meeting from your phone if you like. In the email invitation you received, the teleconferencing number is mentioned.

Make a call to the above-mentioned number. When prompted, phone the meeting ID number (which can also be found in the email invitation). That’s all there is to it!
